first off I want to say that I bought this for my daughter for her birthday and after going over a whole bunch of products with the features she wanted we decided on this one, it has the FM which she likes and playes MP3's and even videos, it has a few built in games which are not great, but can be nice while in a waiting room or whatever.

so when the unit arrived she was excited and filled it up quick and took it out and showed her friends, they all liked it alot and were impressed by the unit, even some of the kids who have iPod touches liked this unit, it's easy and smaller than the other.

now, 2 weeks after she got it she took it to a high school football game and made the mistake of putting it in her front pocket, she is a teenager and does not wear baggy clothes, to make a long story short sitting down caused her to break the screen, she called me crying! actually she cried for 2 days!

I took a look at the unit and figured out that the unit still worked as long as you could remember were the icons were on the screen before it stopped working (to be fair she cracked it.). (I guess what I am trying to say is that if someone thinks these are cheap units because they are light or whatever, just keep in mind that a unit that has a broken touch screen was still able to use touch commands, and still sounded just fine!)

so not know what else to do I wrote to Pro_eb (PE - Pyrus Electronics) who I purchased it through and explained what had happened, I knew it would not be covered under any normal warrenty, but simply thought they could tell me where to get it fixed at for a reasonable price. to my suprise I was sent a note explaining that they understood and had worked out a deal with the manufacturer to get it replaced for $15, just send in the old unit and a check for $15 and in 2 weeks we had a new unit that again works great and has brought the smile back to my teens face!

all I can say is that this unit is what is says it is and works well, but the best thing is the company that sells it stand behind it, and is very customer oriented, and will take care of you as well! ( I was getting emails all weekend, even in the evening when getting the info from them, I expected to have to wait for a reply till monday, but was pleasently suprised to get an email back on a sunday night!
Pro_eb (PE - Pyrus Electronics) is a great seller and now one of my favorites for sure, if I buy something that I can get from them I will choose them even if the price is a little more because I know I will get service after the fact!
Quite happy with this player!

Now I've had this for 7 months and it still works just like the first day I got it. Which by the way is very good. I would like to talk about what I've noticed so far. I am also not going to cover the general things that are already in the description or a 100 other reviewers will talked about. That being said; first let me say, the manual is rather lacking in more than a few areas, but e-mailing them (Pro_eb, the company) and asking questions has been very pain free. They at the moment don't have an English website, so for any questions you e-mail them and they get back to you fairly quick, with full understandable answers.
I would also like to say a few things about the player it self. The player can hold a MINI SD card, the User Manual says the size can be from 128MB to 4GB. The 16gb player has 15.618GB of actual total room. I says it should take 3 seconds to turn on, it takes about 15 seconds of holding the button to turn it on, but it's not at all a big deal, just don't want anyone reading the manual going, "It wont turn on!" when your just not holding the button long enough. Maybe mine is the only one that takes that long, not sure. The touch pad comes with a little pencil type item if you like to use it instead of your fingers. The touch pad is nice enough I don't think I'll ever use it, but its there if wanted. I'm a bit a electronic geek so I figured how to use everything really quick, but don't worry too much, most of the set up and learning how to use the player is very easy, and not too quirky in use. Is very easy to just have all your music in one folder and just past it into the player, (as long as all your music is in the right format already). One feature I like is the play-list or "favorites" that you can use. You add a song(s) that you like from all your music collection in you player, and you have them all together to play instead of having to keep going in between all your albums or artists.
Does not come with great headphones, but that's not why I bought the mp3/mp4 player; the headphones work but I have a nicer pair that I'm using instead. It comes with a case, but the case is not ment to protect it from dropping it, more so you don't wear the finish, or scratch the case. The player also has a video recorder which for me doesn't mean much, but works quite nice if I ever wanted to use it. Be aware though that you can only put movies on that are 4 minutes or under on the player otherwise it wont work.
All in all I am very happy with buying this, and would recommend it.
A nice and Easy to Use Mp4 Player

Reviewer: James M. Leighton,
I've had my Mp4 for about a month and so far it's working great. It's a little thicker than i expected but no big deal there. It comes with a flexible jelly-like cover that doesn't go around the camera lense perfectly but it doesn't interfere with the picture so you don't have to take the cover off every time you take a picture.
The Camera works as well as you can expect on a mp4 player. I found it takes great pictures when your in a room with a lot of natural light. but i also found that you can play around with the settings and it does take decent pictures with artificial light too. Set up is a little strange you have to go to other functions and then Vidicon to get to your Camera/camcorder not under photo or video.
I've loaded all the songs on my computer on it and they all sound great.
The Mp4 also had a game on it called tank not the most entertaining but what do you expect. It also has a stop watch on it that counts up.
I've only had one problem with it and that was one time it froze up on me i couldn't even turn it off. So i used the reset button on the side. And when i turned it back on it was fine i didn't even lose any of the music i put on it or my pictures. Probably just a fluke thing.
All in all i think it's great. Hope this helps.
i'm thinking of buying this

My old mp3 player died and I replaced it with this. I got it in the mail a few days ago and imediatley loaded it with my mp3 collection. the sound quality is good but the controls do take some getting used to. The camera is a nice feature and the picture quality is not bad. The touch screen does not always respond well when using your fingers, but works well with use of the included stylis. Over all it is a good player for the money. looks good too.

A few complaints are, the included cover had a hole for the camera that did not line up exactly, there is no holder for the stylis, and the buttons are too small if you have average size to large fingers. so be sure to hold on to the stylis.
