iTouchless Stainless Steel Automatic Electric Pepper Mill/Salt is ideal for dinner parties featuring salads and steaks that taste better with fresh-ground pepper and sea salt. Just press the button on top and let the mill go to work. The ceramic grinding mechanism can be adjusted from fine to coarse, and a light will turn on automatically at the bottom when you activate the mill to help with accurate portion control at night. The nut underneath the mill controls the texture: turn clockwise for a finer grind, counterclockwise for coarser. Powered by 4 AA-sized batteries.

Love this set!! easy to adjust the grind settings and easy to operate. Excellent value as this set is better quality and half the cost of single grinders I have seen.

the automatic salt and pepper mills work excellent. Saw these at my brother-in-laws house, and decided to get them. They give you just the perfect amount of salt or pepper, and the taste is so much more flavorful using sea salt and pepper corns. I'll never go back to the generic salt and pepper shakers. Can't match the flavors out of these mills.

Used them for about a month now and they perform better than expected. Great price and product plus fast shipping. These replaced another company's set that cost more, wore out soon and were hard to keep batteries in place inside column. These have a battery retainer.

these are the best things ever! gave a set for a wedding shower and everybody raved about them. i was very impressed with the looks and how they appear at a table setting. these are the itouchless automatic pepper mills/satl grinders set-stainless steel
Confusing dual descriptions, but...

The description I read when I bought these last month said: 2 AA batteries needed. Now, I see there is another description above the first one saying: 4 AA batteries needed. I bought these based on the 2-battery theory...that was a major buying point for me...I was quite surprised and disappointed when I ended up with 4 battery grinders. But they do work and so far, no problems.
My husband complains they are too tall and unstable. They keep falling over when put onto a tray to transfer from kitchen to table. I just lay them down. Short and compact would be preferable.

Bottom Line: For the money, we can't complain too loudly.
