It's a really cute kitchen tool. It takes a few trys to figure out the exact timing for your microwave, but definitely worth it. Tip: if you want the egg to be soft boiled ... take it out of the boiley right away or it will keep on cooking.

LOVE THIS! Just follow the instructions, works great! If your egg exploded, decrease the time.....duh! My daughter loves to use it for a quick breakfast befoe school! Cute and fun!

It took a little adjusting, we started at 3 mins and went up 5 seconds at a time until we figured out for our microwave 3 mins 30 seconds gives me the perfect soft boiled egg to my tastes. The kids like them 3 mins 35 seconds. Love it!! No more overcooked eggs on Sunday morning for us!!!

My daughter is having her kitchen remodeled so only has a microwave. The Boiley is perfect for fixing my grandson a soft-boiled or hard-boiled egg. Once a working stove is in place, I think Boiley may be retired.

I purchased this at a gourmet cooking shop. It worked perfectly. I wanted my egg cooked a little more so I increased the time for a hard boiled egg from 5 minutes to 6 1/2. It was perfect! It's a little tricky seeing the water line because the egg has to be in (because of water displacement) but once you get the feel for that, it works great.
